Today marks 2 years since Shireen Abu Akleh, a prominent Palestinian American journalist, was killed by Israeli forces while covering a raid in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Justice and accountability for the targeted killing is yet to be served.
Over the last 7 months of Israelās bombing campaign, at least 92 Palestinian journalists and media workers have been killed in occupied Gaza. According to the Committee to Protect Journalists no other crisis has taken so many journalistsā lives in such a short span over the course of the last 30 years.
Journalists have an essential job of documenting the reality on the ground and combating disinformation - they are not and should never be targets.

Immoral Code is a documentary that contemplates the impact of killer robots in an increasingly automated world - one where machines make decisions over who to kill or what to destroy.
The film, produced by our partners āŖ@StopKillerRobotsā¬, examines whether there are situations where itās morally and socially acceptable to take life, and importantly - would a computer know the difference?

Should a computer decide who lives or dies?
As a founding member of āŖ@StopKillerRobots⬠coalition, we strongly support the coalitionās new #ImmoralCode film which explores the risks of autonomous weapons systems, a.k.a. #KillerRobots. Automated killing (especially in the age of digital dehumanisation & AI bias) must be stopped.
Watch the documentary on the Amnesty International page to learn more about the campaign, and spread the word to help bring about international laws that can ban killer robots.
