Making Coturnix Quail approachable! We share Coturnix Quail and their eggs up close, showing you their unique patterns. I will also highlight how to hatch your own backyard quail and more about my small flock and experiences so far! Coturnix Quail lay over 300 eggs per year, and are able to be housed in smaller spaces than chickens, not just because of their smaller size, but because of their needs. They love feeling safe and hidden. They do not need a roost to lay their eggs. They also have a quick turn around from hatching to production — as little as 6 weeks to laying maturity!
