Keep in mind: many people with jacked physiques got there DESPITE certain ineffective things they did along the way (fancy exercises, "diet hacks", worthless supplements) and not directly BECAUSE of those things. Just because your favorite bodybuilder trains or eats a certain way doesn't automatically mean you should too.
