Experienced a significant amount of fatigue and exhaustion for War of the Worlds since the release of the Amazon film and its scathing reception.

But at the same time motivation has returned to work on the adaption concept I’ve been sitting on. Sadly not period, because that’s above my means. A pipe dream. But at least something that would hopefully be more entertaining and faithful for fans to enjoy than what we’ve recently been served.
Something I’ll chip away at privately.

Very interested to see what drastic approach they take with the new straight to streaming production of War of the Worlds. Images of interest. I suspect the tripods are entirely mechanical, AI controlled.

Funnily enough the Found Footage angle was something I planned for my own film. Despite how jarring many find the genre and it does have its share of trash, largely being a gimmick style, it should be interesting to see how they use it creatively.

Will share my further thoughts after watching.

New Trailer for a interpretation of War of the Worlds by Universal Studios.
Looks like it's exploring more of an idea that our data has been preyed upon by perhaps, and this is speculation, an AI alien entity that has been kept secret by the government. And these technological entities have arisen to harvest us en masse.

I understand that an adaption with these creative choices and quality will be upsetting to many fans. But remember that the novel still exsits, it's not erased, and this is just an example of how Wells imagination continues to inspire and transform.
Whether it's good or not, there's always something to be appreciated and enjoyed. That's how I try to look at it, as a long-time obsessive fan.
The alternative is getting angry and stroppy over it, which is terribly exhausting.

Be open to new things.

Now, be safe. And make smart decisions. watch video on watch page

Contemplating making some videos in the future exploring various aspects of War of the Worlds, historical, modern, niche and obscure. From different publications, comics, audio, games and films etc. Could be enjoyable to make and share.

But on the other hand I’m hesitant to contribute to the mass of “XYZ Explained/Explored!” Videos on this platform. Im tired of them. Just seems like content for contents sake.

But curious to see what others here think.

New addition to the collection. Published by Alma Clasicos Ilustrados. Including some sparse but enjoyably stylised illustrations by Pep Montserrat.

Many are still asking and wondering about part 7. Understandable since we failed to meet out previously intended deadline, but that was always tentative. We don’t make promises.
But rest assured it has not been abandoned.
The pulse of life is still beating.
We are considering making future parts shorter, to increase chances of completing them. There is still much footage that hasn’t been touched yet from the very beginning I would like to include.

Just sharing some art.
Neat cover, fun design. Has that typical menacing look. Angular hood looking like a mean scowl with piercing red eyes. Angry spider.
