What a very stressful afternoon when, for no given reason, British Airways cancelled my flight to Shanghai next week. Finally sorted another routing after two hours on the phone and I’m still not sure it’s gonna go ahead after today’s experience. And there goes my day in Shanghai too, due to new flight times and routing.

My 13 Mini has been behaving strangely - rapidly running out of power even when connected to external battery. It’s just not a good fit for my usage pattern these days. My 16 Pro will be waiting for me when I get home. So, are you upgrading your iPhone too this year?

Miserable weather in London this morning. So, a happy coincidence that I’m off to Lisbon where it is not raining :)

FYI Alipay worked like a charm when in China - just worked seamlessly and made everything super easy. Here's my video on how to pay for stuff in China - because most Western credit cards won't work. Make sure you are prepared!

No need to stress, we've got the best travel gear & tech.
Easy, cool, fun tech is a healthy obsession of mine. Maybe yours, too?
On my channel, I share cool travel gear, gadgets & apps and the best ways to use them.
I also make easy travel guides and vlogs about awesome places around the world that I visit with my tech and travel gear.
My first computer was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum when I was 13. After I moved to NZ in 2005, I flew to California to buy the first iPhone when it came out. I've been into photography since I first used a darkroom at 14, & digital photo & video since it was possible. I have traveled extensively around the world, taking only the lightest, most easy to use, most fun travel gear, gadgets & cameras.
It’s going to be epic - and I’m glad you’re joining me.
