The agropedia is an open access agricultural knowledge repository, conceived under the NAIP-ICAR supported project and developed by IIT- Kanpur in January, 2009. It is semantically enabled agricultural library which has the base of knowledge models of 24 major crops grown in India. It has multilingual content in Hindi, English and Kannada. The repository has location and language specific content in HTML/image/audio/video formats. At present it has more than 8000 registered users and 26000 pages of agricultural content. As of now there are more than 200 videos hosted on agropedia. Creating this channel is an effort to pool all the important agricultural videos at one place for further use.
