Follow our domestic abuse recovery story.
I started record my abusive ex when I was planning on leaving. I recorded them in the fear that something horrible might happen to us. After careful planning we are happily free. I wanted these recordings for protection, and for myself, as a reminder of how bad things were. I decided share so others can learn from our ordeal. These are not something I'm proud of, but this was my reality.
