Europe Business Assembly (EBA) was founded in Oxford, UK in 2000 as an international non-governmental organization, a voluntary association of political, scientific and business leaders from all over the world, and as an effective tool for multicultural dialogue. EBA has a special consultative status in the Economic and Social Council of the UN (UNECOSOC was created in 1945 as one of six principal bodies of the UN). The main priority of EBA is the MICE industry development (business tourism) in the elite market segment.
EBA is a multinational event holding body with a vast structure. It chairs various projects and communities, among which the international academic association Academic Union, Oxford (AUO) plays a significant role. The primary aim of the Union is to consolidate the efforts of scientists, educators and manufacturers on science, education and business development in the XXIst century, and support the endeavours of its members for the innovative projects and programmes.
