The Story of Gray, The Ghost Kitty
I sometimes wonder if anyone else has ever been haunted by the ghost of an animal? I feel odd when I come across the ghost of a dog or cat because a huge part of me feels for them, but a larger part of me is terrified, too. My house has the ghost of my boyfriend's cat who passed away many years ago named, Gray. Other's have also seen him (including my current cat, Oscar).
Gray often follows me into any room I go and I see him several times a day, and perhaps I'm so afraid of him because he is AWARE as a ghost kitty. In my vlogs, I frequently mention I am most terrified of ghosts who are aware of us because they attempt to interact with people. Most can't see them, so it's not a problem if you just "feel" their presence or get chills. But if you can see them... It's SCARY. During a time when I was super busy and stressed (with work), he bolted out of my office and screamed while my boyfriend's mother was in the room with me. He darted right in front of her from across the room, but she didn't see or hear him. Moments like this makes me feel crazy.
Gray is an interesting one because he is very intelligent. When I first started dating my boyfriend and sleeping over, I often pined after Oscar who, at the time, lived upstairs. I would always bug my boyfriend to bring me Oscar and I would follow him around the house, calling for him to come into my arms. Oscar gives two 💩 for me. 😅 Enter Gray.
My first time seeing Gray, he scared me straight! He was part Mainecoon (20lbs HUGE cat) and I didn't know he used to be my boyfriend's cat he grew up with. I took him for a demon. 🫣 Gray attempted to approach me several times before I finally told my boyfriend I've been seeing a demon cat around his house. He questioned me on what it looked like and it was GRAY. I told him I was terrified of it, but my boyfriend continued to assure me not to be afraid because Gray was a great and affectionate kitty. The next time Gray came to me, he LOOKED LIKE OSCAR. ☠️ Gray knew I was afraid, he attempted to appear smaller with similar markings as Oscar.
The years passed, I moved in and I kept Oscar for my own. Oscar and I often feel Gray jump onto the bed with us or watch him as he approaches me. My sister has also felt Gray jump on the bed, too. I am no longer afraid of Gray as I used to be, but I am perhaps the most afraid when 💩 on the toilet and he walks towards me (because I feel trapped). Yes, I don't close the door when I use the bathroom- odd habit of being afraid in case a ghost is in the bathroom with me.
Gray continues to do odd things Oscar does in hopes I will welcome him. I can feel his longing spirit, as he is lonely, but he chose the wrong person to haunt because I keep him at a distance. I suppose Gray reminds of my old dog who passed away over 10 years ago, Grizzly. I've always wondered why he never came as a ghost to me, but my spirit guides remind me what I have forgotten- that we have sent him on. Have I not sent Gray on because I no longer want him to leave and am used to him or am I just ignoring my duties as a Shaman? Time will tell.
Until then, I will dote on Oscar who is alive and well but ignores my advances while sleeping warmly in my bed, and be haunted by Gray who longs for my affection. #shamanthings #kittyghost #ghoststories

The Yin-Yang Master Dream of Eternity movie on Netflix is the CLOSEST I have ever seen to portraying Shamansim. The calling of your spirit guides in battle was beautifully done! Sometimes felt like Power Rangers- but it's so dead on! 😅 Side note: I have never wanted two leading male actors to be love interests with one another like this movie. CHEMISTRY! 🔥❤🔥
