Formed in Devon in the mid-1990s, Muse have become one of the most ambitious rock bands of their generation. Blending arena rock with electronic music, glam, and classical flourishes, they’ve built a sound that pairs dystopian themes with blockbuster spectacle. Their music has evolved from the classical tones of Absolution to the hard rock of Drones and the electro sheen of Simulation Theory, always staying unmistakably Muse. Known for epic live shows that balance scale with intimacy, the trio mix seriousness with irony, embracing both the profound and the absurd.
In 2022, they released their ninth studio album, Will of the People, reaffirming their place as one of the boldest and most inventive bands in modern rock.
