At a very young age I made the decision to become a gang member. As a result of that decision, I spent 30 years of my life within the California justice system. I went through juvenile hall, group home, camp, California Youth Authority, then at the age of 19 began a life prison term within the California Department of Corrections, where I served over 24 years straight. With this channel I try to share the insight I developed into my responsibility for my incarceration. I also try to honor my victims, as well as all victims of crime, while always being respectful to those still caught up in the criminal lifestyle and criminal thinking. As someone who lived that life, I am a firm believer that education, introspection, insight, personal responsibility and personal accountability are the keys to breaking the cycle of violence.
