IMPORTANT UPDATE! A Message From Zac
To our incredible TLP Community, I want to take a moment to share a personal and official update with you all.
After a lot of reflection, deep conversations with both my Grandma and Papa over the spring, and the support of our trusted TLP advisor team, I’ve made the tough decision to wrap up operations at our TLP Space Coast HQ and Studio and move back home to Canada, where I’ll be reestablishing the TLP Canada HQ and Studio in Edmonton, Alberta.
This isn’t a decision I made lightly. Over the 7 months, as many of you know; I’ve been navigating some personal health challenges, which led to the conversations around this return to Canada. Then in May; I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my Papa; the man who raised me and has been my biggest supporter from the very beginning. As much as I’ve loved living on the Space Coast (chasing 3AM starling launches, visiting KSC, and being in the heart of the action); it’s time for me to return home.
Though this is a deeply personal choice, it’s also a powerful opportunity for growth for TLP. The Space Coast will always hold a special place in my heart, and I know one day I will be back. But make no mistake, this isn’t a step back for TLP. It’s a leap forward. By moving back to Canada I’ll be able to cut costs, grow our team, and finally bring to life many of the projects we’ve had on the drawing board for years; fueling our mission: to inform and inspire the explorers of tomorrow.
What does this mean for TLP and our community?
In truth, not much will change for you, our amazing supporters. While I may miss a couple of streams during the studio transition, I don’t foresee any major interruptions to our content or coverage.
In fact, this move will allow TLP to do so much more:
- Expand the TLP Platform
- Grow our production and news teams
- Roll out new shows and content formats
- Launch exciting new products in the TLP Shop
Although I will no longer be based on the Space Coast, I will continue to travel for major launches and events; and now, with reduced overhead, I will increase our international presence, bringing even more coverage to our community, from around the world.
Want to be part of what’s next? 🧑🚀
