DOES THE STRIKE INCLUDE ANIMATION?
Technically not, but we know animation has its own problems, and many have been fighting similar battles without a full strike. Actors that are striking can't do feature animation, but they can do series.
Still, consider the HILARIOUS irony that during the pandemic, animation kept the studios alive, pandemis ends and they mass cancel a bunch of projects, now SUDDENLY live action production is shut down again so animation is only of last productions still going.
CAN I STILL GO TO MOVIE THEATERS?
Movie theaters still need business, but you can always direct your focus to more indie features or older movies
CAN I STILL WATCH STREAMING?
The strike isn't asking anyone to not watch anything, at the moment.
CAN I STILL TALK ABOUT MOVIES?
Of course, this doesn't include reviews
But ideally, there's an argument to be made to deprive the studios of free advertising by not talking about future movies, and instead giving the attention to their competition like indie movies, and kneecaping the studios current revenue during the strike will make them more stressed every day, by depriving them of their other sources of income like streaming MIGHT be beneficial, however, it would very counterproductive to focus too much on what you feel you are/arent allowed to watch and fighting with people only about it rather than just showing support for the strikers.
So I finally caught up with Miraculous Ladybug, and season 5 certainly... ended the way it did.

PLEASE VOTE IN MIDTERMS
-Voting won’t solve everything, but it does effect laws that get passed and puts certain people in positions of power where their voices will be heard by more people
-DON’T RELY ON POLLS, they are notoriously unreliable especially when its close.
-Everyone who doesnt vote puts more power into the hands of those that do
-Vote for people who aren’t able to/are being repressed/intimated
-Voting in local/state election will likely affect your life more directly more than even the White House, just because the person’s name isnt as well known, they are still passing local laws where you live.
-Vote as those your one vote can make a difference. I know it doesn’t feel like it
-In a neutraler way, I just find it a little disheartening how many eligible voters just don’t vote, your life is affected by whose in charge more than it feel, both from the laws passed and how people in charge talk affects the cultural mood and values
-I know it doesn’t seem like your vote matters, but when MILLIONS of people feel that way and decide not to vote, those numbers add up. So vote like your vote is THE deciding factor
-Yes the current system sucks, but changing it takes time. Right now this is what we have. Also, it’s one day, it’s the bare minimum you can do to affect what laws get passed,
-Check it out for yourself, but Ground News is likely a decent source for new without media bias, or as little as is possible
