Closing out my Taiwan trip with a relaxing stroll around Lantan Scenic Area. Unfortunately fishing is not allowed there. There are signs on the fences reminding people they could call a hotline if they need help.
I did not see any fish in the lake. There are plenty however in the tiny (and somewhat unsanitary) creek by the lake..

There's an abundance carp, koi, goldfish, tilapia in every body of water I've seen in Taiwan. That includes a little pool in the beside the hot springs of Beitou. Talk about warmwater fish!
PS: did you know the national fish of Taiwan is Tilapia?
