Welsh soul artist Nia Wyn has a talent for raw and powerful storytelling. Growing up in a small town in North Wales, Nia struggled with mental illness, isolation and confusion around her identity, taking solace in old records she found.
Inspired by the soul that came out of Philadelphia, Memphis and Detroit in the 60s and 70s, Nia writes, produces and sings songs about modern issues: being queer, hard times young people face, mental health and identity. After signing with Marshall for bookings, Nia is focusing on her debut album set for 2024 that will see her return to her roots of influence.
Nia’s recent achievements include supporting Paul Weller on his sold-out UK tour, performing at Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival and Lytham Festival, and sync placements on FIFA 21 and Shondaland's Station 19. Her music has seen support across radio with plays from Jack Saunders (BBC R1) and Craig Charles (6 Music) and A-List spots on BBC Radio Wales, as well as Spotify editorial support.
