I couldn’t believe it when I looked at my phone.
Grace & I went to the park this evening to walk with my brother & sister in law as we often do.
While we were waiting for them, Grace and I were standing over by this tree looking at the leaves, and I remembered “huh, this is the spot I took that photo on my due date when I was trying to walk her out! wow, that’s coming up on 2 years ago now.”
I didn’t even realize what day it was. I opened my phone and read the date- May 22nd. My due date. Exactly 2 years ago, Grace & I were standing in that same spot, albeit in a much different circumstance.
2 years ago I came to this park, desperate to walk her out after feeling some strong contractions. I was so uncomfortable, so miserable, so desperate to meet my baby, and little did I know I still had 10 days to go.
Today I came to the park with my almost two year old, walking together as she excitedly gabbed away about how she wanted to see my brother’s dog, and show her the cool leaf she found. I feel so comfortable, so fulfilled, so joyful, and am loving every day of watching my little girl grow and explore and become the amazing person she is. It’s everything I prayed for on May 22nd, 2021 and so much more 💛

hi y’all!
For the past few days we’ve been at Disney World! We mention this in some upcoming vlogs from before the trip, so I wanted to share this update.
We’ve had an amazing trip and I’m excited to share more about our time here soon. But, we’re cutting our trip short due to the changing situation with the hurricane approaching Florida.
Stephen had a work conference here in Orlando, so we came out a few days early to all do Disney together, and then Grace and I were going to do a few more days in the parks while Stephen had his conference.
Yesterday, we got word that the conference was cancelled due to weather, and decided it was best to try and get home now. We were able to change our flights to today and are heading home safely now.
I will wait to share more of this trip out of respect for the situation here.
