Me and my dad cooked a wonderful pot roast and white dinner! Preheat oven at 325 degrees in convection roast. Put the chuck roast in a big cook pot, add salt and pepper on the roast, pour one small packet of onion soup mix on top of the roast, and top it all with chopped mushrooms, chopped carrots, chopped celery, chopped leek, chopped onion, some V8 juice in the roast, some good Italian plum peeled tomatoes, and yummy beef broth in the roast! Cover the whole roast that is in the cook pot with aluminum foil or lid. Cook it for 2 3/4 - 3 hours and itβs ready! For white rice, bring 2 cups of water in the pot to a boil, add 1 cup of white rice after washing rice in a strainer by running under water for 10 seconds, add rice in the pot, reduce heat to a simmer, and cover it with a lid. Cook at 20-25 minutes until all water is absorbed into the rice. Take the lid off and fluff the rice using a fork and the white rice is done. Bon Appetit!π
