Hey, it's the guy who used to record songs, usually just acoustic guitar and voice, with his phone and upload them with
anime pictures here. It's been a while! How is everyone doing?
I spent these last couple of years thinking about how I would proceed with my musical career. I wanted to sever my connections to older movements I identified myself with (more because of how such self-identifications don't do any good
than anything else, really) and based many of my lyrics on, but still make music here for the few but true fans I know I have.
It was quite a conundrum and it took longer than planned for other reasons as well, but I finally made my mind.
Way back in 2016, when I quit my last band and decided to start a solo musical project, my first idea was to do it entirely
digitally and use Vocaloid for the voice. But I lacked both the technical knowledge and motivation to acquire it at the time.
I eventually started this channel, which was initially more about vlogs and humorous, primarily cover songs, but gradually evolved into a more serious authoral music career.
So, I'm happy to announce that I did finally acquire the knowledge to do my solo musical project in the way I originally
intended. Actually, even better, since I've been waiting for a grunge version of K-On! for years now and this is likely the closest we will ever get to it, lel. Well, I hope you enjoy Flaunge! I have a handful of already recorded songs that I'll upload these following days, so stay tuned!
My production abilities are still far from advanced but I can finally create rock songs with drums, bass and guitar consistently and it does sound a lot better than what I was able to create with just my phone. And I've also learned to
work with AI voice and voice corretor softwares.
As for the old content, after much thinking (trust me, it was really a lot), I had to remove everything from here. Sorry but I wouldn't be happy doing it any other way. Don't worry though: all the serious songs I still want to use will be
re-released with this new project (most of them were demos anyway). My versions have been all backed up to my old Bitchute account and the old songs I don't plan on reusing are still available in the old Soundcloud as a sign of respect for the fans. So just Google it if interested. As for my old vlogs, I never really liked them, so they're just gone.
Some final considerations:
To some people with whom I used to talk to frequently (they will know who they are), sorry for suddenly disappearing. For a
while, I was into some stuff that led me to cut a lot of ties abruptly. I'm not as extreme about it anymore now and I'm not a fundamentalist Christian anymore either, just so you know. Anyway, my disappearances were never intended to hurt anyone and you're all welcome to comment on my new channel, hopefully assuming you don't hold a grudge against me. And so are all of you by the way, but please note that I left my identification with older ideologies behind.
I'd also like to thank my old producer who did help me a lot despite our differences and eventual falling out.
