Hey guys! We just launched something we’re really excited about—our BRAND-NEW Turtle Travel Club! It’s a travel club for slow travelers over 40 who want to explore the world together—through real-world meetups, small group trips, and meaningful connections.
There are already a bunch of members chatting inside our new travel community, so you can jump right into the conversations and start connecting from day one.
We're hosting a New Member Welcome Zoom Video Call on April 19th so we can all start getting to know each other face-to-face.
And our first member-only Turtle Trip to Cuenca, Ecuador is already in the works (as well as our next two small group trips). We're going to announce the details during a live, member-only launch party on May 4th so now’s the perfect time to join.
You can learn all about the club here: AmeliaAndJP.com/Club

Yesterday, a powerful earthquake hit the war torn country of Myanmar. It was so bad, a highrise building under construction collapsed over 600 miles away in Bangkok. Hundreds of people have already been confirmed dead and many more are expected to join that list 😢
Amelia and I are currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (for a couple more days). We didn't feel it here so we're ok. Thank you for all the concerned messages. We're very thankful that so many people care about our wellbeing.
Our thoughts now are with the people of Myanmar and Thailand who lost their lives or lost loved ones. The Myanmar Red Cross website appears to be down right now, but please consider donating to the charity of your choice if you're financially able to help.
Life is precious. Give someone a hug today.

In last week's newsletter, I shared the cost of our emergency room visit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. How much do you think it cost us WITHOUT insurance (we paid cash)?

It's still hard to believe we're doing this. Seeing things that childhood JP (growing up in the country outside a small Kansas farm town) never dreamed possible. If this is your dream, too, we can help you make it possible with our Move Abroad EXPRESS eCourse (and private, supportive expat community).
We'll will walk you through every step of the process from deciding you're ready to leave the US to living abroad or traveling full time like we're doing now.
We just added two new lessons covering critical Fraud Protections you need to do immediately and how to handle your Prescription Medications while traveling or living abroad.
You can still get the course and lifetime community access for 50% off (for a limited time). Click this link to learn more and enroll today: ameliaandjp.com/mae
