I'm back! Just got done with some Streets of Rage 4. I'm going to try to get it out before I go out on the town in an hour.

Apologies for the lack of gaming videos in recent weeks. I went to record a couple of nights back, but OBS is making videos kind of choppy for some reason.
I'll try to get this resolved, because I have some ideas for games I'd like to play.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to explain the recent lack of uploads. For the past month or so, our cat Daisy's health started diminishing. I have been devoting my time (aside from work) to caring for her. Unfortunately, we had to have her euthanized yesterday at 4:00 PM. I don't feel it's right to get into the details, but the doctors didn't think she'd survive the surgery she'd have to be put through given other underlying health conditions, and she would have most likely just suffered if we had taken her home.
She went really peacefully. Three of us spent about 3.5 - 4 hours with her before she went. She was in a nice room on a blanket, which was on a chair. She was surrounded by the three of us, Bass (our other cat), and some toys and a stuffed animal.
We got Daisy about seven months ago. She was a rescue, who we were told was 13, but all the staff at the vet feel she was older, based on teeth and some other things, but I remember overhearing "teeth". I don't know what her life was like before us (outside of being neglected), but she was always so happy to see us and receive attention.
Looking back on everything, I think we made the right decision getting her. We did the best for her we could. She was an older cat, hiding in the corner of her cage with an active staph infection. It's likely no one would have adopted her. We took her in, treated her infection, unmated the fur around her neck they couldn't get when she was shaved, and spend the next seven months together with her as a member of our family. She was my baby. She'd always be so glad to see me after I'd come home from work. She'd stare at me at nighttime as we both fell asleep, or crawl up on my pillows behind my head if the bed was too full of humans. I think we were the first people to show her affection. She'd be so happy to receive love. She was the sweetest cat I ever met. I'm glad we made her last few months happy.

Given all that, I will be taking a little bit of time off from making videos to grieve. I *may* upload one or two gameplays I did before I had to start devoting time to caring for Daisy, but this would require editing, which is something I doubt I'll feel up for doing anytime soon. We'll see what happens.

I just finished up with what will likely be the last gameplay of The Oregon Trail (2022). I choose "Oregon or Bust" difficulty, drafted a party of people I deemed as having the worst characteristics, and selected the wind wagon to make the journey with.
I'll probably have it out by sometime tomorrow, or possibly late tonight.

I seem to have figured out what Daisy (my cat) did to my editing program. I'm currently working on editing episode 11 of The Oregon Trail. I'll probably have that out in about an hour unless something happens to go wrong, but I think we're in the clear!

No gameplay coming out in the morning. I'd finished it and was reviewing it, but Daisy stepped on some buttons. I don't know what she did, but I couldn't recover it. I'm going to have to do that all over again tomorrow.

I ran into a bit of an issue with editing. Episode 7 of "The Oregon Trail" is done. I get off work in about three hours, so I'll get to uploading it then.
I want to go ahead and get episode 8 out today too, just to make up for the lateness, but I'll need some more time.

Hey cool! I figured out how to post these things.
I recorded "gameplay" of a quiz game called, "Hitler or Kanye?" where you try to guess if a quote was said by Adolf Hitler or Kanye West. It will be out in just over nine hours. See you then!
