HOLY. SHIT. So on September 1st, my entire Google account was hacked and I was completely locked out. It happened in the middle of the night while I was asleep. I donāt know how, but they were able to get around my two-step verification and change all of my recovery info. Thatās 18 years of emails, all of my Google Drive files, all of my stored passwords, and my entire YouTube channelā¦ ALL GONE. Not to mention all of the important websites I had tied to my account. Googleās support was non-existent at first. It took a week just to be able to finally get in touch with an actual live, real-life person that I could talk to. But as of about an hour ago, I am happy to say that they came through and I finally have everything back, including my YouTube channel! I know Iām not an āinfluencerā with millions of subscribers, and Iām sure no one even noticed that my channel had disappeared, but to see 16 years worth of videos and hard work vanish in the blink of an eye was pretty heart wrenching. Anyway, Iām just extremely relieved that the ordeal is over and done with. So now itās time to get back to work! š
