Channel Updates for 9/22/25:
Art Night Pasadena was announced through Social Media, followed by the new brochure last Thursday. There will be many route changes for all of the shuttle routes, including the North route now linking between Red Hen Press & Art Center to avoid a concert at the Rose Bowl. The event returns on October 10th. Two new venues are being introduced in the Fall 2025 Art Night, which includes Fulcrum Arts & Pasadena Heritage. Learn more at www.cityofpasadena.net/artnight
The A Line has been extended to Pomona this past Friday. I will have a full ride along of the extension coming soon.
The channel has also been renewed for Season 17. The new season begins with Orange County content beginning October 5th.

Channel Updates for 9/8/25:
If heading to the Rose Bowl for the UCLA Football Game against the New Mexico Lobos this Friday, the Rose Bowl Shuttle will be in operation. The shuttle service begins at 4 PM, and will run continuously until 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game. LA Charter & other charter companies will be operating the service.
CicLAvia Historic South Central Meets Watts is next Sunday September 14th. If heading there, take the Metro A Line to any of the following stations near the route: San Pedro St, Vernon, Florence, Firestone or 103rd St / Watts Towers. Please keep in mind that I will not be serving this particular CicLAvia. This date was originally set for CicLAmini San Pedro. Map is below.
On Saturday September 13th, as part of SoCal Transit Month, Bus Fest is happening at Granada Beach in Long Beach. The event runs from 2 PM to 5 PM. Riders can take Long Beach Transit 121 or 131 to the event. Learn more at www.socaltransitmonth.org/busfest

NEW FULL RIDE ALONG ANNOUNCEMENT: LADOT Commuter Express Line 534 WB
If heading to the Rose Bowl this weekend for Oasis Live '25 World Tour, the Rose Bowl Shuttle will be in operation on both days, with shuttle service starting at 2:30 PM, with the concert starting at 7:30 PM. The shuttles will run continuously until 90 minutes after the conclusion of the concert. Foothill Transit will operate the Saturday event, while LA Charter and a few other charter companies will operate for the Sunday event.

Channel Updates for 8/25/25:
I recently did a trip in the South Bay this past Friday, so stay tuned for more coming soon.
Metro will be extending the A Line to Pomona on September 19th, with 4 new stations opening. Along with the opening weekend will be TrainFest at Union Station on September 20th & 21st, Pasadena ARTwalk & the Pasadena Greek Festival on those days. More details to follow for the extension opening with official times.
If heading to the Rose Bowl for the UCLA Football Game against the Utah Utes, the Rose Bowl Shuttle will be in operation beginning at 5 PM and will run continuously until 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Shuttle service is free for all UCLA Home Games, and passengers can take the Metro A Line to Memorial Park, and then walk to the Parsons Lot to catch the free shuttle. Kickoff is 8 PM, and will be televised on FOX.
Next Monday September 1st, the channel and all social media platforms will be on a Sunday schedule in observance of Labor Day. Regular schedules resumes September 2nd.

Due to extreme heat later this week, it is very important to stay hydrated by drinking water, and reschedule activities to either early morning, or later next week when the temperatures start cooling down. The LA County Beach Bus is also a good option to avoid extreme heat, and runs until Labor Day.

Channel Updates for 7/28/25:
Series 4 of Day of the 851 has concluded. Requests have resumed as of this past weekend, and regularly scheduled content will resume beginning next week.
This week, I'll be featuring shuttle routes, but it will be reduced to one video each day. Later this weekend, I'll be featuring Metro Local Line 66 Eastbound (prior to June 2025 Service Change), as well as the DASH Highland Park / Eagle Rock. Regular content will resume beginning August 4th, which will feature videos taken in 2025.

Channel Updates for 7/24/25:
Series 4 of Day of the 851 will conclude tomorrow July 25th. Following the event will be a Mini-Series of Day of the 855. Requests will resume beginning Saturday July 26th. Regular content will begin in August.
I also filmed the newly updated Altadena Beach Bus, so expect those ride along videos coming soon.

The A Line Extension to Pomona opens on September 19th. The new extension will operate from the current eastern terminus at APU / Citrus College to the Pomona - North Metrolink Station. I will be covering the new extension on opening day (if not starting at 5 PM).
Next Week, I'll be featuring shuttle content, starting with LA Fleet Week Shuttles, then the Hollywood Bowl Shuttle, and then full ride along videos from LA Metro & LADOT.
Metro will also be operating a free shuttle service for the Hard Summer Music Festival on August 2nd & 3rd at Hollywood Park. The shuttle service will operate between the LAX / Metro Transit Center & SoFi Stadium, with service starting at 1:30 PM, and running continuously until 90 minutes after the end of the festival. Keep in mind that since it is an Insomiac event, Hard Summer Music Festival is an 18+ event. City Shuttles from Ontario, Granada Hills & Fullerton will be provided with only one departure time heading to SoFi Stadium, and all City Shuttles will depart at 10:45 PM at SoFi Stadium.
If heading to the Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, riders can take the A Line to 1st Street Station, and it's a 12 minute walk to Shoreline Village. City Shuttles from Granada Hills, USC & Fullerton will be provided with only one departure time heading to Long Beach, and all City Shuttles will depart around 11 PM in Long Beach. There is also shuttle service from LAX to Long Beach, with the first bus departing at 8:30 AM, and running continuously with no service between 3 PM & 7 PM. Return buses will depart at 9:30 AM, and running continuously until 11 PM.
The D Line returns service beginning this Saturday July 26th, as the 70-day closure is ending. The D Line extension is 98% complete, and train testing has started.

Channel Updates for 6/30/25:
San Bernardino County Content is being featured this week, along with a new scheduling format with three videos on weekdays, two on Saturdays, and one on Sundays & Holidays. Those videos are being featured in preparation for the upcoming Day of the 851 next week, beginning July 7th.
Series 4 of "Day of the 851" begins next week, and during that time, I will not be accepting requests until July 25th, when it will conclude. Ride Along videos will be featured first, then outside videos under the new scheduling format afterwards to speed up the series. Following the event will be the Mini-Series of "Day of the 855," in which will only last for a day on July 26th. Regularly scheduled content begins August 4th.
The channel, and all social media platforms will be on a Sunday Schedule this Friday July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Regular schedules resume July 5th.
Metro made service changes on June 22nd, which included the 603 being renumbered as the 93, as well as route changes. Refer to the channel update from June 13th for details.

Channel Updates for 6/19/25:
The YouTube Channel is on a weekend schedule for today in observance of Juneteenth. All other social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram & Threads) are on regular schedule today.
This week would have been CicLAvia Week, however, due to the ongoing law enforcement operation, this Sunday's CicLAvia Historic South Central Meets Watts has been postponed. However, ActiveSGV's Active Streets Mission to Twilight will occur as normal at the time of typing, but may be subject to change, based on the status.
