Someone asked me what I do for self-care and I realized Iāve only started being truly intentional about my self-care just recently.
Before, I would always say something like, āoh Iāll do it when Iāve made it/have free timeā and even feel a little guilty sometimes when I relaxed, but honestly it just creates a cycle of exhaustion and guilt.
Take intentional time for yourself; itās so rare for things to need 100% of our effort 100% of the time, plus resting and enjoying ourselves will help us be even MORE efficient later
Recently I started looking in the mirror and telling myself, āI love youā and itās been SUPER powerful.
I think a lot of us understand the concept of self-love on an intellectual level but donāt often do things that activate it on an emotional level.
Even if you feel like youāre in a solid place, try this out and see what it brings up for you!
