I am back on my laptop, so to say I still can't record using it but I'll just use my phone to record my POV while i have someone else record the ingame POV.
We just got done recording the first video in months, BUT!
We are not done with recording as the two main people: Gibus and Flux weren't in it. We are gonna have a second session where both of them are actually in the video before I start editing the video. Expect the video to come out late July or sometime next month on August.
The game we recorded was as promised in the latest Decaying Winter video: Doors.

so uhh
the decaying winter will be uploaded on monday jan 27, 2025.
lets just hope i can edit fast enough.
(im editing this video while it's exam week and i probably should focus on the exam but i might end up procrastinating the video again so NO)
i was gonna edit it using davinci resolve but i was having a bunch of problems and time was running out quick so i had to switch back to capcut one last time.
the next video after the part 2 of decaying winter video should be edited by davinci resolve since by then i dont have a lot of shit to do.
oh and the videos i've uploaded related to genshin and hsr have been privated. (i forgot to do this since like 6 months ago) such content wont be included in the channel anymore.

And before anyone says that I should try this update: No. I gave up a long time ago and I should stop. This map was not healthy for me.
Not saying the map is bad or anything, I just have a major skill issue when it comes to consistency, and was not healthy for my mental health in the long run. I didn't have any fun after like a week.
I had 16 hours worth of recordings and half of the time I wouldn't be recording due to fps problems or if I just wanted to practice first with devtools.

Those waiting for the next Frosty Peaks update are gonna have to wait for an extreme amount of time, i am simply losing too much motivation, to prevent a burn-out from happening, i may take a break that may go for atleast 2 weeks.
On top of that, i have to learn a new scripting process due to the "Timelines" update.
To do one last thing, i will fix and update the map to be compatible, then i will take a break for a while.
To remind what are coming:
A Custom made OST (may happen, im just not sure)
Last area
Switch the style a bit slightly to Snowy Stronghold (Just a tiny amount)
Buffs to lava and jumps
And a proper escapee
School is also about to start and i also wil have to upload progressions whenever i want now and will have to change from (Day 10) to Progress #10, to have more time into school.
The amount of time i will spend in studio may depend on when my school ends and each studio session may even only last for an hour, making progress just too slow.

For those waiting for Frosty Peaks Day 5, I was gonna start filming the progress video, but i essentially ran out of time.
I started making the map at 1PM and ended at 6PM, I forgot i needed to record and spent too much time on building to the point i ran out of time, therefore, the Day 5 progress video will include Day 6 as well. for those wondering what the map looks right now you can check the photos below.
I changed the gameplay at the tower section since the game play was bad.
I have someone helping me decorate now, thanks to I_need2win's Friend: ShadowBasan09.
Who decorated the First room/section, which the deco is still in a work in progress.
