As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
I want to share with you the 3 most valuable lessons I learned from interviewing Simon Wallgren (simonsayssquat on IG).
He is a sunnah weight loss coach and in our podcast we talked about sunnah masculinity and how to respark that muslim spirit in men.
Lessons learned:
1. You don’t have to sacrifice your hearafter to become successful in this dunya
Find a way to make money or become successful in this dunya through helping others. This will get you good deeds and also get you success in this world.
2. Give people tough accountability but don’t shame
Our ummah will fail if we don’t hold each other accountable. But we must learn the difference from holding people accountable vs shaming them. Shaming helps no one.
3. It is a mans duty to become strong and healthy
We know our Prophet (PBUH) was very healthy and in great shape so why aren’t we? There is no excuse for a capable muslim man to be out of shape and he must work on fixing that.
The best part about being muslim is we don’t have to guess what we should do with our lives.
We know what to do.
And that is live by the Sunnah.

Muslim revert stories always raise my iman.
Even though i'm a revert there is something about hearing how people got guided by Allah that makes my heart happy.
This story with Patrick is one of my favourite revert stories I have heard in my entire life.
If you want a boost in Iman I would recommend listening to his story.

I just had Central Dawah also known as the Christian Debater on my podcast.
Here the 5 biggest lessons I learned from our conversation:
1. The best way to raise your iman is with small consistent habits. Not trying to change your life overnight
2. Allah’s mercy is more powerful than what you did in the past. Allah can and will forgive you if you ask sincerely
3. Muslim is not a label you give yourself you must live like a Muslim through your acts not just your words
4. Your past does not define your future. Do not let your past be the reason you don’t succeed in the future
5. Brotherhood will change your life. You need close friends who will keep you accountable.
My conversation with him really raised my iman.
Hopefully it can do the same for you.
