Hey guys, just wanted to give you all a quick update as to the status of the next upcoming video; as I know I haven't quite lived up to my normal video production schedule lately! Unfortunately, last weekend I ended up getting in a fairly serious head-on car collision which ended up totaling my car and banging me up pretty bad in the process; as I definitely took the worst of the impact. Fortunately both myself and the other driver were able to walk away from the wreck relatively unharmed; although, until today, my neck was too sore to sit up for more than an hour or a so at a time, so, I've been taking it easy this entire week. That being said, now that I can sit up straight for more than an hour at a time, after nearly a week spent idly resting, I'm fairly eager to do *something else*, so I'm doing research and working on the script in another tab right now actually.
Also, wear your seatbelts! If I had not been wearing mine (even if 'it's right around the corner'... my accident was less than two blocks from where I live) I most certainly would have not walked away from that collision whether alive or otherwise; and I would like to take another moment to also appreciate airbags as well; as if my car hadn't had airbags... I'm not so sure I would have walked away from the crash either, to be honest. I try to remind people to be safe out there at the end of my video descriptions and sometimes in my community posts like this; as even when you are intentionally being careful, our existences can still prove to be both unpredictable and unforgivingly virulent...and experiences like mine last weekend are certainly a stark reminder of such to say the least.

So, unfortunately, YouTube has removed my latest members only uncensored edit, specifically for the photos in it of the needlefish impalements. Notably, I only showed these images for a small fraction of the video's runtime, and they were only shown while discussing specifically the types of injuries inflicted by needlefish; as the photos illustrate a real life example of one such (non-fatal) injury. While I did mention the graphic nature of these images in the video in my voiceover; and I am not denying the photos are indeed graphic in nature; but I also believe that I included them in a relevant, educational context in the video; and the graphic nature of the images further serve the purpose of grounding the absurdity of the concept of spontaneous-arbitrary-impalement-by-fish in reality for the viewers. I wholeheartedly disagree with YouTube's assessment that they were included with the sole intention of shocking the viewer without providing educational context to accompany them, and I've 'disputed' this finding with YT, the process of which is: click "dispute" and hope for the best.
I'm rather disappointed that this issue has arisen at all in the first place, as YouTube seemingly continues its inconsistent crusade against content made for adults and watched by adults; see my viewer demographics analytics in the attached picture to this post if you're curious about what exact % of my audience are adults. Not only that, but the video was intentionally paywalled so only people who specifically were interested in seeing these relevant graphic accompanying images would ever view that specific video anyways. All this being said, I also know from both my own personal experiences as well as from accounts I've heard from other creators here on YT, sometimes the powers that be are sometimes known to show reason upon second inspection, sometimes not; almost as arbitrary as say...sudden impalement by-twelve-to-sixty-inch-long-fish-while-snorkeling for instance!
I've definitely explored the 'uncensored' concept off of YouTube in the past, and I certainly have a reason for a renewed interest in such as of the channel strike, but, for now, for the sake of precaution I have temporarily privated the members only videos until I hear back about the dispute, which should be fairly soon, from my experience they move pretty quickly as far as these rulings and appeals and whatnot. Now, let it be known that, should you wish to find it, I've posted this controversial cut elsewhere on the web, I don't want to anger the powers that be, so I won't promote another site in this post or tell you where exactly; but, let it be known nonetheless. Now, if you've read this far, I'll leave you with an original, relevant parting haiku that I may or may not have just spent the better part of 10 minutes at this point to coming up with:

Hello everyone! I just wanted to give you all a couple of quick(ish), relatively minor updates regarding the channel. First off, I've been mulling over the idea of releasing uncensored edits of many of my previous videos as 'Members Only' videos here on the channel for quite awhile now, however, I've always been a biiitttt apprehensive about whether YouTube would ultimately frown upon doing this or not. However, I've personally noticed numerous other channels releasing their uncensored videos as 'Members Only' videos without receiving any punitive retaliation from YouTube for doing so, which, has, in turn, bolstered my own confidence to finally do so myself... So, as a thank you to all the Channel Members, I've just uploaded two uncensored cuts of some of my previous videos, and will add more videos from my backlog as well as any new videos which require any censoring for the publicly available versions with uncensored 'Members Only' cuts as well. Also, as some of you may or may not be aware, YouTube has somewhat recently begun to allow creators to upload 3 different video thumbnails simultaneously so their effectiveness can be tested against one another to determine which thumbnail is the most successful at drawing in viewers to the video essentially; which is awesome! I'm definitely a big fan of the implementation. Anyhow, throughout the years, I've had a few dozen people contact me about possibly creating thumbnails for the channel; however, as I generally just prefer doing everything surrounding my videos myself, I haven't actually taken any of them up on their offers yet. However, with this new thumbnail comparison tool at my disposal to help me discern each thumbnail's direct effectiveness, I'd now just be one outright obstinate individual to not at least open up the opportunity to prove your prospective thumbnail making skills...by proving their effectiveness with that cold, hard analytics data! So, with this being said, if you were one of the aforementioned individuals who previously reached out to me regarding making thumbnails; or if this potential opportunity interests you at all, I humbly request that you prove your skills in this rather particular craft by whipping a decent quality thumbnail for any of my previous videos on the channel (I predict that the Kony video in particular has a lot of potential for this purpose) and I'll stack them up against the current thumbnail and another alternative, and see what the data has to say. If your thumbnail does beat out the current one, I'll reach out to you before I release a future upcoming video, and if this second submitted thumbnail wins out again (or performs particularly well), I'll reach out to you again so we can (hopefully) work out a deal for proper compensation for the two aforementioned thumbnails as well as for some further future thumbnails to be commissioned for the channel. If your submitted thumbnail doesn't win the comparison, or fails to make a noticeable difference in the analytics data, then it's really no harm, no foul! So, feel free to send any potential thumbnails (1280x720 & PNG or JPG image container types only please) over to me via email or in a DM over on X!

Hey guys! I just wanted to give you all an update on what I've been up to behind the scenes these last few weeks! I've been diligently working on a video for you all that, in all honesty, was originally intended as a somewhat-longer...roughly, 20~35 minute long video; which was a fairly notable underestimation on my behalf...because, after poring over hundreds of pages of research materials, and writing nearly 50 pages of script, the video's runtime has expanded considerably; now clocking in at over an hour long. I apologize for the gap in content the last couple of weeks as I've worked on this video...but I feel like it's my duty to all of you, my fans, to deliver a digestible, yet informationally dense video on all the topics I cover here on the channel, and I'm fairly certain that a majority of you would rather I take the extra time to deliver my videos in their informationally complete form, rather than potentially omit important information in order to trim down the runtime and rush to release it more expeditiously. Thanks again for your patience everyone; I'm in the home stretches of production on this one now, so keep your eyes peeled for when the video does finally drop in the next few days! Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a real quick update post here: Neither Outside Magazine nor Gesman Temang have reached back out to me at all; and tbh I probably wouldn't either in their shoes, as to be perfectly honest it's incredibly embarrassing for everyone involved with the article to be called out for this junior league 'journalism' like that. Continuing on, I'd like to apologize for the rather slow start to this month, I've been a bit sick for the last few days & my voice has been sounding quite off, so I haven't been able to record like I've wanted to, but I have stayed productive and have gotten a lot of script writing done during the last week or so instead. That means while the videos have been off to a bit of a slow start this month, things are about to pick up over the upcoming ~10 days. New video will be out tomorrow or early Tuesday morning, and I've also been working on an extra special video detailing the BY FAR one of, if not just straight up the most unbelievable, plot twist laden & gut wrenching series of tragic events that I've ever covered here on the channel, and there is SO MUCH info to go through I expect the finished video will be 1 hour- 90 minutes minimum, although I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up rivaling my Saltwater Crocodile Attack video for the longest video I've made. Hey everyone! Hi everybody! On Sunday I was mid-editing the latest episode when I decided to take a quick nap after dealing with a seemingly incurable headache all day. Unfortunately, when I awoke from my nap, I soon after realized I had fallen ill with a sudden bout of the stomach flu!
