An Unruly Channel
When I was just 19 years old I did a solo budget bike/make-it-up-as-I-go trip across the US. I set out from Virginia, with just my bike and a $300 Visa gift card (that all went to repairing my bike when I crashed it down the Blue Ridge Parkway), and made it all the way across the USA. I ended up in California, and then went to Hawaii for the first time in my life. On this adventure I biked more miles that I ever thought possible, found odd jobs for cash, worked directly for food, dumpster dove, CouchSurfed, Craigslist Rideshared, and turned countless strangers into friends. It was an epic adventure, to say the least.
After learning so much on that trip across the USA, I felt inspired to create an online space where I could share what I was experiencing while meeting incredible strangers, discovering myself, and interacting with rich cultures through travel. Now, you can watch me do this through my videos highlighting vegan, budget, and solo travel.
