What do you think about today’s news that Bose has acquired McIntosh and Sonus faber? It feels like an odd acquisition since Bose’s customer base has little in common with luxury hi-fi brands. However, perhaps it’s a smart move to strengthen their presence in Magnolia storefronts and regain traction in car audio by leveraging these premium brands. I also wonder if Bose might improve the quality of McIntosh speakers, which, in my opinion, have been lacking over the past couple of decades.
