Taking inspiration from the German term KampferHerz comes, “A Fighter Heart.” Someone who exemplifies the KampferHerz spirit has had every reason to give up, but in spite of their hardships, risen to the occasion and come out stronger. The basketball player who tore their achilles then came back the next year to lead his team to the NBA Finals, the mother who was given six months to live due to their breast cancer diagnosis and is now in remission, or the world class runner who had their leg amputated and ending up winning the New York City Marathon, all exemplify what it means to embody A Fighter Heart.
