Mumbai, in all its chaos and charm, always felt like home to us ā„ļø

We still canāt quite grasp how we went from āLetās spend a few months in Mumbai and see what happensā to āWe bought our first home in Mumbai.ā š„¹
Shrey and I always wanted to have two bases ā one in India and one in Italy. We fell in love with the City of Dreams back in 2019, and the rest⦠well, weāll talk about everything in our upcoming video. š
The level of craziness and logistics involved in making this happen remotely is a story for another time. But we can guarantee this ā the universe truly played its part. Not a year earlier, not a year later⦠everything came together at exactly the right time in our lives. āØ
And like every big moment in our journey, we want to take you along ā show you the fun and the chaos. Lots of chaos! ā„ļø

Mumbai feels like home in so many ways, and I have a very long list of things I love about this city ā„ļø
I started sharing a few in this post, but honestly, I could go on forever! We recently had a friend visiting from Germany, and I took him around some of my favorite spots. He loved them just as much as I do ā and it made me wonder: is it because I show him my Mumbai, the way I see it, through the words of someone who truly loves this city?
Thereās no denying that Mumbai isnāt always easy. With time, Iāve started noticing its challenges too ā but I know Iāll never fall out of love with it. Iām addicted to its energy.

48 hours in the Eternal City ⨠It was such a pleasure to meet the Ambassador of India to Italy, Ms. Vani Rao, during my short but sweet trip to Rome. Between an insightful conversation (coming soonš„), catching up with old friends, and soaking in Romeās magical nighttime glow, this visit was truly La Dolce Vita! Canāt wait to share more!

Whatās the one place you canāt help but romanticize? For me, itās always been Italyāeven though Iām lucky enough to actually call it home!š®š¹āØ
Thereās just something so dreamy about it. Slow mornings with a cozy cappuccino, exploring through charming old streets and getting happily lost, finding the cutest little family-run shop, or enjoying a meal so good it feels like a warm hug (yap, even veggie-friendly ones š„°) Itās the same kind of magic that made me feel so at home in India too. ā¤ļø
In the next few days, Iāll be sharing a little love letter from me to Italy⦠and to all of you! Any guesses what it could be? šš

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and wish you all cuties a wonderful 2025 āŗļøš«¶
If you're wondering how I celebrated the holidays, donāt worryāIāll soon share a video with all the details and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. But for now, hereās a little something about my birthday!
I was born just a few days away from Christmas, and celebrating my birthday has always been a mix of struggle and disappointment since I was little. Everyoneās Christmas plans, trips, and dinners tend to conflict with my birthday, so over time, I gave up on big celebrationsāsticking to just close family and Shrey. I even stopped expecting birthday wishes, because letās face it, the holidays are busy, rushed, and packed.
But now, Iām a year wiser, and Iām letting go of that old mindset. Deep down, I love celebrations and bringing people togetheeerrrrr!š
I want to celebrate life with my friends and family and, yes, be celebrated for one day a yearābecause thereās absolutely nothing wrong with that!
So no more playing small, little GiuliaāI promise! ā„ļø
And definitely no more waiting seven whole years to gather friends on my birthday š
