Team,
The crew and I would like to thank you for watching, supporting and all your kind comments on the last few episodes. As we play with different formats, learn and grow.

We have done a few deep dives into what to do with Courgette / Zucchini, from easy to slightly more advanced with many more applications to come. We want highlight single ingredients as a focus in many future episodes. I am really enjoying it. Bringing particular items to the forefront and how to make them the stars.

I know we have mentioned this is the past and I think we're ready to do a 'Ask me anything' video so we can address some of the most frequent questions coming in. On cooking, kitchen flow, grief, food business, loving animals or whatever you can think of. I trust we'll all keep it clean of course. I will answer as best I can in an upcoming episode.

Let us know in the comments what we can answer that will help you most.

Thanks for being you and for eating more plants.

Looking for a forever home for Gary 🐾

If anyone can help find Gary a great home, please share. He’s currently in Austin, Texas but can travel for the right person. The link attached has more details. www.austingermanshepherdrescue.org/our-dogs/gary

Frankie and I found Gary abandoned at a local park—he came up to us wanting to play, and workers nearby told me he’d been dropped off by a car hours earlier. No collar, no chip, and no one came back. (I told the full story in a video a few weeks ago.)

Since I've found him and couldn't just leave him, he’s been fully vaccinated, I bought him crate and am crate training him and enrolled him in obedience training three days a week. We have made him feel as welcome as any family member. He’s smart, affectionate, and learning fast.

I want to say this with care: I appreciate the kind people encouraging me to keep him—but that’s not something I can take on right now. I’m just not in a place to responsibly care for two dogs—especially one with as much energy and drive as Gary. He deserves someone who wants and can give him all the time and attention he needs long-term.

That said, I won’t let him go to just anyone—this has to be a forever home where he’ll be truly cared for and loved.

Thanks for understanding—and for spreading the word if you can.

Star date: May 2025

Morning Team,
We hope this finds you well and breathing through any difficulties that will soon dissapate.

For US --Mission complete, upgraded van items accomplished. Now we head back to the desert cave for some re-organizing, planning and some new recipes too as we get ready to set off on our US tour soon.

Ms America is doing great and adjusting to the gravitational differences of being on the road. Different parks everyday! She still is convinced we are going back to England and misinterprets when I say we're going 'home'. She's speaks volumes with her eyes. Bless her.

Next video will be up in a couple days. Frankie has pointed out all the mistakes and we're trying to rectify them or at least utilize them for your entertainment.

These next recipes coming up are bangers (yes there are multiple coming since i am still learning not to take such big bites) and will be great for the warmer months ahead. Can't wait to share with you soon.

Have an amazing week, wherever you are! See you shortly.
Deep breathes...

Hey Team-
Happy Mother’s Day without you we wouldn’t be. You’re amazing!

Thanks for all the support on the last couple episodes as we get back into a groove. Especially regarding the tattoo comments from the peanut gallery. I do wish all people could be happy and have the cause for happiness. It’s sad some have to be negative. Alas, we move onward.

We are working thru how to shoot in a van next. If it’s not one thing it’s another šŸ˜‚.

Frankie and I really wanted to appreciate you and let you know how grateful we are for your support, kind comments and to those that tip on the super thanks. (Thank you) I buy Frankie treats with that, she is a treat gal.

Have a wonderful weekend and hope you get to try some of those recipes at home. Soo good!

Much appreciated,
D & F

Hey Team –
Hope you've had a lovely week.

Thanks for your patience. We've taken enough time away from filming and will be resuming with our chef vlog-style videos — not sure what else to call them. :)

We've been settling into and falling back in love with Austin, Texas.
Practicing and arranging the new kitchen to flow comfortably for efficiency, learning where I've put everything (and making sure it's in the right spot), not to mention re-equipping an entire pantry.

It's taken much longer than anticipated, so we've had to adjust our timeline and roll with it.

I also wanted to mention that I've been practicing a few new amazing dishes that we'll share — excited for you to try them!

We've also been visiting with friends and checking out as many Austin-vegan-specific restaurant spots as we can to see what's around. To no surprise, that’s led to me eating my fill of all the delicious tacos available. I missed Mexican food so much when I was in England.

Austin is a mecca for walking trails, dog parks, watering holes, great people, coffee, music, and activities. We've been enjoying all of it and getting to know the lay of the land.

Frankie Miss America is happy — and that’s what makes me happy.
Now I think we’re finally ready. We'll share some clips soon, and at some point, head out in the van. But one step at a time...

Thanks for being the kindest, coolest community out there.

Hey Team-
We hope you're taking care in all the chaos of life these days. Sending strength and patience to be kind.

We drove to Florida and are now back in Texas. Had to take a minute to introduce the beautiful Frankie Ms America and visit with family I've not seen in ages. Got some van upgrades and have been setting up the house and van to hit the road soon.

The kitchen is set and we can now sleep on beds again for which we are grateful. Now that the kitchen is set up I've realized how I've been cooking and practicing A LOT, in order to get a feel for flow, movement and where things should go. Since I'm not catering or in a random airbnb, I want to make sure my kit is set up to be stocked, efficient and promote creativity to help me share what may be of benefit to you and folks wanting to kick up their veg cooking game.

All this while exploring our surroundings and making sure Frankie visits all the parks and swim holes. Bless her.

All that said, we are itching to come back stronger than ever and take it on the road.

Anyways, lots to come and lots to share, we will see you soon. I'm so excited to share some of the dishes we'll do this year, they are definitely aimed to please the senses, sooth the soul and will be easy on the wallet.

photos:
1. A happy Francesca posing while we were stopping for a break in Alabama
2. Reorganized kitchen pantry (again)
3. Crispy crunchy fried oyster šŸ„ with chili-garlic ’fish’ sauce caramel
4. Best ever Tofu scramble, cheezy potato and smoky salsa on corn tortillas
5. Buttery creamy Lions Mane - corn off the cob Ramen with various delicious veg

Cheers,

Hey team-

We are so grateful for your kindness and support on our last video.

We’ve been making the rounds between the Florida coasts visiting family and friends and introducing Francesca to her tribe.

Learning how to navigate the van. And purposefully finding and pausing to enjoy moments like these.

We can’t wait to get back into a more consistent groove and are feeling more settled everyday.

Feeling extra grateful. Sending good wishes.

Hey Team - quick update:
It has taken us longer than we thought to get set up and am hoping to work up a few videos ASAP. Appreciate all the kind notes and patience. We are doing really well.

Last video was in Detroit. From there we took 4 days and drove to Texas in the van.

Have found a home base and have been setting that up too. Finally unpacked from the London move which only took a little over a month.

Moving internationally and starting over again is a much bigger project than we thought. We decided to give ourselves a break and not rush things, take our time and do things intentionally. It is not often we get to start over and we want to do it right.

Our biggest obstacle is knowing we have to change up how we video, in new kitchens, on the road etc. And the techy parts of all that is what we are learning and not the most comfortable with.

I am working through the nerves to just hit record but I'm also a perfectionist when it comes to doing what I love, 'cooking' and hopefully no matter what we're shooting we aim to be of some kind of benefit and adding value to people's lives. Not just taking space and wasting time.

So there you go. We will be back super soon and will share what's been up and hopefully some stellar recipes.

Frankie is getting used to driving with me and of course is demanding wanting my full attention most times, as she stands by the door requesting my presence as she sniffs around. She is the funniest. <3. We have been finding all the dog parks and swimming holes that we can. She loves it.

First thing I cooked the other day was this ramen. It was delicious! can't wait to cook and share more.

Thank you for being you.

See you soon.

Wow! What a week!

Ms America and I made it to Detroit. Picked up the van (tour coming once i learn how to use it properly and get to where we are going). Not gonna lie, it's pretty (insert swear word) COOL! And we can't wait to share it.

And..

@Neal just released and amazing video remaking some of our recipes here --> https://youtu.be/lTdTmhi_HzA?si=tQcXv...

And..

@jeremy also did a video remaking some of the recipes more WFPBNO style for his family here --> https://youtu.be/yesfNaIUVUQ?si=H3228...

Please check them out if you don't know them and already follow and of course please give them a follow. I'm touched, flattered and so honored. Honestly. How kind is that.

Frankie's calling so i gotta run- Have a great rest of the week.

PS, i'm editing a video now that is looking like the longest cooking one yet with several items that i can't wait to finish and post.
