Watched Superman last night on a free high quality camrip, and tbh..... I was not impressed. Seeing Superman get bodied in the whole movie, his parents being turned into warmongers, the aggregious music choices, the all over the place and overstuffed plot, the annoying Justice Gang characters, the pointless subplots with Jimmy Olsen and Metamorpho, everything in this movie bothered me in some shape or form and it really didn't feel hopeful or wholesome in the slightest. If this is what to expect from the new DCU going forward, then oh boy we're in trouble. I give it a 2/10 for the good cast and the one scene where Lex gets beat by Krypto, but aside from that, never seeing this movie willingly ever again. Stop making bad Superhero movies Hollywood. Its exhausting.
