Ce nom vous dit quelque chose ? Dans le film culte de 1987 Princess Bride, Iñigo Montoya était un fier duettiste hispanophone mu par la vengeance de son père. Dans le décor un tout petit peu moins chevaleresque du monde moderne globalisé, Iñigo Montoya est un jeune groupe parisien non moins attachant que le héros à qui il emprunte le nom avec malice.
Signé chez Echo Orange, Arty et désabusé (mais combatif), le groupe dévoile ensuite le titre « .E.S » inspiré du chant féministe chilien « un violador en tu camino ». Un titre puissant qui prend place dans un contexte difficile. Tous les bénéfices de ce titre sont reversés à La Maison des Femmes de Saint Denis qui lutte au quotidien contre les violences faites aux femmes.
Iñigo Montoya amorce l’ère II en 2021, avec la sortie de 3 maxis aux couleurs bien définies pour chacun. Ils exploreront les facettes electro, rock et pop de leur spectre musical. À découvrir à partir du 12 février.
