My return to posting videos is coming soon. I have some tape recordings of Cartoon Network Australia from 2002, complete with promos of the various shows that aired on the channel back then, most of which belonged to the defunct Toonami programming block that mostly aired English adaptations of anime. I do have other recorded TV footage, but I want to start with the Cartoon Network stuff and go on from there.
I will start uploading once I get a hold of a reliable capture device. Years ago I used a converter that connected to my old computer via a firewire cable. The issue now is that my old computer no longer works and my new computer does not have a firewire port (and can't be added either).
I recently bought myself a cheap "brand x" USB dongle converter over the internet and it doesn't work properly. The picture flickers like crazy with flashing colours on screen. I know it's not a tape or VCR issue because the same thing happens when I play a DVD through it. The VCR works fine on the television. I will have to try buying another USB dongle and hope for the best.

This is my general use channel, I mainly use it for uploading historical TV footage and sometimes other stuff.
All clips of TV commercials, network idents and TV shows that I have uploaded all remain copyright of their original owners and they have been shown for historical and nostalgia reasons only. If there is a problem with a certain clip, message me and I'll remove it. Thank you.
