How interesting that YouTube would launch a new Community feature right as I'm gaining momentum with a total reinvention of my channel. It's time for fresh energy, fresh eyes, and fresh perspectives.
I've got a video about this coming soon but for those of you who don't know, my life and career hit a series of setbacks (including a family health crisis involving my newborn baby) that had me feeling like I was defeated and I'd lost everything.
I think life kicked the crap out of me so hard that I needed a break, but I'm ramping back up with new ideas and a new take on the world. I miss publishing frequently and the adventure of videos doing a million views regularly, but more than that I miss you. I miss the back and forth as your feedback inspires the next video. I miss the connection. But there was a point at which I would have been pretending to be someone else to continue doing the old thing. Many people have tried to sabotage me over the years, but I came back stronger every time. I can't stop being myself now.
I haven't been myself for a long time but my sense of Poetic Menace is slowly returning. You look at the ratio of subscribers to average views and very few of the subscriber number will even see this. Some of you will call me a failure (many already do in the comments of my old videos). But the gifted ones will see the thread that runs through all of my artistic output from TV to Music to Superhero movies and now to AI and this guy Z. Thrillington who has taken over my channel.
If you're looking for superhero parody videos, I'm proud to be one of the pioneers of the format. I encourage you to enjoy the content of the many channels that were inspired by my accomplishments.
But if you're looking for that spirit food that inspires and invigorates you, with an art experience that only Sean Ward can provide, stay tuned. You're getting in at the ground floor of the future.

AI video today is what superhero parody videos were when my channel first got big. This is the new obsession that's going to dominate my life and career for the next decade. It's like this tool has landed in my lap that can make all of my wildest movie-making dreams come true, without having to spend a dime on production design or special effects. I haven't bee this excited to be an artist in a long, long time. I get that the viral nature of my past output means that a small portion of my subscriber base is going to follow me on this path but that's OK because the real ones know that it's always been about the art, never about the numbers.
