Hasps from the past- C.1820. Found in the bottom of a box of scrap parts and pieces. History saved one piece at a time on the road!

1930’s depression era uranium glass- recycled into modern jewelry! All of them were made from the shards of damaged and/or broken glass tableware. I’m a glass artist who loves history, so this is as good as it gets for me lol!😁💚🔥⛏

My name is Harry and I’m a 47 yr. old glass artist and history hunter from York, PA. Recently I took a chance, gave up my house, and now live while working on the road digging and exploring various places around Pennsylvania, the east coast, and beyond. My dogs Lily and Hutchinson go on adventures with me in search of 18th-20th century artifacts and more. I also brought my cat Nuisance along for the ride too!
I’ve been a hotglass artist for 22 yrs., and now work from a traveling shop. I specialize in cremation ash jewelry and other memorials. I also create products from the damaged materials I recover from artifact sites as well.
Please join us for the challenges and successes of traveling on the road, and see where we end up next! We are always looking for new places, so let us know if you’d like us to come and hunt history with you. Public digs & classes available too!
