Yep, canāt pull one over on you sightseers!!! Iām officially busted.
Instead of posting a new adventure this week, I took the episodes on Frisco, Utah and combined them into one. Well, kind of. I also took some stuff out, moved things around, added different music, badda bing, badda boom and voila: a whole new show with an entirely familiar feel!
Hereās the thing: I donāt normally rework stuff. In fact, this is the one and only time Iāve ever revamped any of my videos. And Iām not too sure how I feel about it. On the one hand, I didnāt particularly like how the first two Frisco episodes performed. I thought reworking them into something new *might* do better by YouTubeās algorithm. Now seemed like the perfect time to do it because of the recently released episode on Bannack.
However, after watching this new and improved version, Iām not too sure I really like how it turned out. š¤¦š¼āāļø Geez Louise, what can I say. I guess Iām having one of those weeks.

For those of you sightseers still wondering what the object was in Martyās ābrain teaserā during our last episode, Iāve got an answer for you! Can I get a drumroll please? š„ And the answer isā¦ the reeds of a harmonica! Yep, Marty found the remains of an old harmonica (aka mouth organ) while exploring the old ghost town of Frisco. Pretty cool, huh?
Btw, if youāre wondering why we didnāt just share the answer during the vid, thatās actually a funny story. Since Marty has his own harmonica, he thought it would be cool to film the answer playing his harmonica, which at the time was back at our camper. Seeing as we were out in the middle of nowhere, there was no way we were going to drop everything at that moment to run back to the campsite just to film that scene. So I moved on, thinking we would do it after we got back. BUT, by the time we got back, we had already forgotten we were even going to do that. It wasnāt until I started editing the video that I realized what happened. OOPSIE!!! I almost left out that part but I thought it was such a neat find that I kept it in anyway.

Hey sightseers, I need your help!!! This weekās episode is about an old ghost town. I filmed A LOT of footage, and I am debating whether to post one really long video (>45 minutes) or split it into two parts (about 25 minutes each). For those of you who regularly watch my YouTube videos, what do you prefer?
Option 1 - Post ONE really long video.
Option 2 - Post TWO separate videos.
FYI - If I split the episode into two, I will most likely wait to release the second half and have it be next weekās video.

Hey sightseers, seems the troublemakers are at it again! This time weāre talking serious doo doo š© Like impersonating a public figure type of doo doo. š± Huh??
What in the tarnation am I even talking about?? Wellā¦ it seems thereās a new *fake* SightseeingSally account going around my YouTube comments section asking people to ātalk with me on Telegram.ā Of course, as soon as I found out I got right on the stick and banished that fake account clear out to Dodge! š¤
Since this isnāt the first time that this has happened nor will it likely even be the last, I want to remind all you sightseers to be careful about who you interact with online. Including when you think youāre chatting with me!!!
As I havenāt made it big enough to get the official check mark āļø on YouTube and I am too cheap to pay for it on Facebook / Instagram, the BEST way to know whether youāre actually interacting with me in the comments section is to verify the source of the comments. If they are coming directly from me, you will know because they will lead back to (depending on the platform) *my* YouTube channel / Facebook page / Instagram account where you will see ALL my videos and/or posts. If itās a FAKE account, it will likely have ZERO or virtually NO content posted. Additionally the profile name will probably not be capitalized correctly or spelled exactly right. Lastly, they will attempt to get you to go to another site by offering to chat with you through Telegram, WhatsApp, or some other third party app. While I canāt say for sure, I suspect once they have you on their āhookā they will steal your data and scam you.
In case you donāt already know, I donāt do Telegram, WhatsApp, or any other third party chat apps. Iām not going to ask you to chat with me on some strange app that isnāt already part of my public profile. If anything, I may direct you to my website or ask you to email me using the official SightseeingSally email address which is posted publicly and can be easily verified.
I canāt say it enough- Be Vigilant! The last thing Marty or I want is to hear that one of you got taken by one of these impostors.
