iâm realizing everything worthwhile in life has an element of risk.
if itâs quitting that safe 9-5 job in pursuit of a more fulfilling career, it means you could face financial instability. if itâs moving locations, it means youâre going into a new environment thatâs unpredictable with a completely new set of characters in your life and abandoning the familiar. if itâs entering a meaningful relationship with someone you care for, it means you face the possibility of getting your heart absolutely shattered.
that being said, when has it ever NOT been worth it? you learn about yourself, you learn what youâre capable of, and you discover new parts of yourself that you didnât even know existed. risk elevates life. jump and the net will appear. and if it doesnât, you can get up, dust yourself off, and say, âi did my very best todayâ and move forward.
donât wait. donât spend the next few months or years of your life wondering âwhat if i did thatâ because youâre worth it. youâve always been worth it. you get one life. donât spend it wondering how amazing it could be or couldâve been. donât play it safe. donât hide. donât deprive yourself or the world of what youâre meant to do.
