Zambian born songstress Nasana is a singer-songwriter based in the UK. Her music is a fuse of afro-vibes, R&B and soul which creates a soothing sound for any listener.
Nasana was part of a vocal group called NOSOVE who represented Zambia and won the BBC worldwide singing competition called ‘The Next Big Thing’ in 1999. As part of their prize the group travelled to the United Kingdom to record an album called 'Songs from the bush' in the world-renowned Maida Vale Studio.
Nasana’s talent quickly caught people’s attention, her feature on MAG44 and Pompi's song “Wishing” on the 'bwana' album was a strong steppingstone to the future of her career. Her debut single Konka Nkoloko was also well received and features her award-winning younger brother Pompi.
Nasana’s single ‘Tili Mu’ has also become a popular song for wedding playlists around the world, the song was initially written for her brother’s marriage to renowned gospel artist Esther Chungu.
