Anyiko is the founder of Anyiko Public Relations - artists & culture PR agency based in Kenya and renowned for steering major campaigns across Africa. She is best known for having worked as Coke Studio Africa’s Entertainment and Music Publicist from 2015 - 2019 and Sauti Sol’s first publicist and the orchestrater of their rise from an unknown quartet to one of Africa’s biggest music exports. She hosted and co-produced KBC TV’s Grapevine - Kenya’s longest running entertainment magazine show from 2010 - 2017.
Anyiko Owoko also works as a Music, and Events Curator for several outfits and cultural institutions including Goethe-Institut Nairobi. In 2023, she worked for E! Entertainment as East & West Africa Publicist and an interviewer on season 2 of E! VIP which aired on DStv. She was also Kenya’s representative and a speaker at South Africa’s Showbiz Entertainment Africa Academy Conference in partnership with Gauteng Tourism (2023) and at Saudi Arabia’s XP Music Futures (2022).
