Cyphon is a new label releasing wide-ranging sounds from emerging artists, touching on electro, abstract electronica and Detroit-inspired futurism. From the deep, expansive IDM of the mids 1990s produced by UK pioneers such as Autechre, Black Dog and Aphex Twin through to the harder-edged US sounds of Drexciya and Underground Resistance, the label will present exciting new music filtered through the lens of that golden era of DIY home recording and bedroom production which bought us so much incredible music.
