I started the hobby in 1975 as a kid keeping community tropical fish and goldfish. Since then, I have kept many fish from cold water, pond, tropical, and saltwater including corals. I specialize in African Cichlids and Fragging soft corals although I have bred many other types of fish(non-cichlids). Lastly, I have had fish rooms and breeder set ups and tons of experience with lots of tropical fish. In the 1990's I was part of the Raleigh Aquarium Society and participated in their workshops, fish auctions, and even a fish collecting trip for 6 years. I have many years of tropical fish magazines and books that date back to the 1960's.
