A 25 year history of this currency shows that it happens quite a bit. Be aware of geopolitical events and circumstances. Study what influences the perceived value of a currency, as well as the things that happen as a result of that fluctuating value.

If you have been around long enough, you may have heard @DiamondDave1 state that, “every ticker is a market unto itself.”
Every ticker has its own implied volatility, and behaves according to what that value is. It is important to investigate that pattern, and let IV govern your behavior with that ticker. You may look at one ticker whose IV may say that selling is ideal. At the same time, another ticker may say that buying is ideal.
