So I was playing around with this music software I have last night & ended up having alot of fun and feel comfortable enough to share on here for anyone interested - https://youtu.be/qn0I0Am85sk
I already have my hands busy with a whole bunch of things, personal, for friends and with life in general, but if I can make time to delve into music making too, I'll be a happy chappy.
Till next time possibly!
P.S. Hopefully I will have one more animation before the year closes to upload on this channel. It's super tiny but I'm proud already with the dumbness it's evolving into <3 Peace x

Heya! Over the weekend I finally was able to finish & release my latest cartoon, being another FTCR animated! Really chuffed how it came out so if you have some spare time to catch it if you happened to miss it, I'd very much appreciate it!
Do it for John. How can you say no to that face and/or pose! :D ► http://youtu.be/_gD_khK5F5g

It's been a real bit huh, aside from the meme upload in August, and before that the lil Kirby bit for the release of Forgotten Land.
To get right to the point - I'm still working slowly on the project I've teased twice on here in the past. A concoction of real bad procrastination, many start and stops moments when prioritizing things in life and honestly bouting with mental health for a good chunk of the year have all had their elements to this. Now don't worry, what I just spoke about hold far more priority than a silly 1 min toon, I don't share this lightly and thankfully with help and therapy I'm on the better side of working on it and further investigating myself to get better.
THAT ALL SAID! I still love doing this, this project still makes me laugh and holds some of my proudest bits that I can say "yo, you made that. Tell that imposter syndrome "No... you're poopie, go away", you wanted to try and achieve something you ain't done before with character animation, you studied other artists that you get inspired from and you managed to put it onto virtual paper" - and on that note is why regardless of these hurdles I'm still working on this fan toon. Even if it's just a doing a dozen or so clean line art pieces a day (no exaggeration) I'm a slither bit closer to the end product than if I didn't do 'em.
But aside from that update, I did pause to make a couple quickfire "living" illustrations on my twitter recently, the latter to promote this really cool Donkey Kong Land review which that game deserves more love. The art to the latter is via this link: twitter.com/SpiderKnife/status/1577396967726059541…
and the actual DKL vid link is here: https://youtu.be/Jv57ylkOyHo
Anyways I'm done writing here. Thank you for reading. I'll be going back to animating while having Janet Jackson's "If" on repeat (the first bridge in the song is my lifeforce for today. Such a great piece of music filled with energy, a solid New Jack Swing beat and harmonies that builds to the chorus. Love it!)

Whoa... I can do this now. How fancy. May actually take this up from time to time.
So, what to say? Well, I've been currently working on the next animation since June. When I've not been procrastinating on parts that I'm anxious if I'm capable of making good (which feels like alot of the time honestly), it's been pretty satisfying doing something slightly different, challenging my abilties and managing to succeed on what feels like will be entertaining for folks to see aside from myself.
Subject matter - I'm treading back to making a reanimated piece from an LP I THOROUGHLY enjoyed from this year, and as recent as last week I've rewatched the whole thing for like the 10th time lol. Hope the toon can capture a slither of that entertaining energy.
Mental deadline? I have a date in mind which I'll continue to keep close to the chest, but I think it be neat to release it on a certain anniversary. Whether I manage to or not I'm not putting that pressure on myself, but it be a cool bonus if it's possible.
But yeah, that's it really as of what I'm doing now. I did write a quick note a couple days ago of an animation idea that would be an ambitious project for me to do. Left me really excited, so hopefully when this is done maybe that'll be what I do next. Vague I know, much like most of what I wrote on this first post, but in my head I like to either keep things under wraps until it's released, or have my actions speak louder than my words and have a chance of self-made peer pressure to take place. Alas, self esteem is a fun, wonderful venture...
Till next post, look after yourselves, and enjoy this cropped frame that perfectly captures my emotion that I can do these community posts. Peace! x

Welcome! My name is Rob, A.K.A. SpiderKnife & I am a 2D animator based in London, England. Like most people I enjoyed watching cartoons from as long as I remember & it was since my late teens that I got the passion & love to attempt and create my own cartoons. It took alittle while for me to get the swing of things but now I work to provide a nice catalogue of work that I'm proud of on my channel for folks to enjoy alongside me and hopefully be entertained :)
I also do Perler Art where I create & photograph (predominantly) video game sprites and placed them in real life environments where they often interact with in some fashion. I currently showcases this on his Instagram account (Instagram handle: spiderknife).
You're more than welcome to follow me on any of social medias listed below. Thank you for your time!
