About
Hi, we are Kate and Iain, we cast off the lines from our home port in the U.K. in April 2021 to adventure on our 40 ft sailboat, a Najad 391 called âIntrepid Bearâ.
In 2021 we crossed the Bay of Biscay and sailed the Atlantic coast of Spain and Portugal.
In April 2022 we crossed 1640nm from Gibraltar to Montenegro without going ashore. We had no Schengen time left so could only pass through without stopping. We then spent the summer of 2022 in Greece before returning to Montenegro for the winter.
The 2023 season so far has had us visit to Italy, Sicily, the Aeolian islands, and Corsica.
Weâre making our way north to cruise colder climes in upcoming seasons.
