Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad The Promised Messiah & Mahdi (AS) said,
"It is certainly inherent within human nature that however knowledgeable and learned a man may be, his own words alone can never affect him as do those of others in times of calamity and arousal of carnal passion. For instance, if someone faces a disaster or is mourning the loss of a life, although he is aware that this world is not a place of permanent happiness and peace, nor is it everlasting, times of shock, grief, and anxiety overwhelm the helpless man and his heart is totally beyond his control. In this situation, if such a personâwho, in his opinion, is exceedingly holy, saintly, and venerableâadmonishes him to be patient because there are great rewards with God for those who are patient and that this world is not a place of eternal lifeâeven though he already knew itâhearing this from his mouth impacts him with such a wonderful effect that it prevents him from falling."

Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad The Promised Messiah & Mahdi (AS) said,
"I'm always astonished, (the Prophet Messiah said) at this Arabic prophet whose name is Muhammad. Thousands of salutations and peace be upon him. What a high status does he have? We can never understand his true rank. We can never understand his true spiritual strength and the impact of it. Without instead, instead of recognizing this, people do not recognize his status. That would hear the oneness of Allah that has vanished from the world. There was a warrior, a spiritual warrior who brought it back. He loved God to the highest pinnacle. He loved humanity to the highest pinnacle. This is why God who knew the secrets of his heart. Made him greater than all prophets, all friends of Allah and all Saints, and all his wishes were fulfilled in his life."

Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad The Promised Messiah & Mahdi (AS) said,
"Another extremely hazardous belief that is sabotaging Islam spiritually is that the maulawis await a Mahdi who would drown the world in blood and start killing as soon as he made his appearance. They also attribute the same signs to their fictitious Messiah who, they say, will descend from heaven and kill all unbelievers and spare only those who accept Islam. One with such ideas cannot be a true benefactor of his people; in fact, it would be frightful to travel alone with such a person lest he tries to kill you thinking that you are an unbeliever, while he remains ignorant of his own unbelief. Remember, that to present such nonsensical beliefs as an integral part of Islam and the Holy Quran is to bring ridicule upon Islam and to give the opponents occasion to mock our religion. No logic can justify that a person should come and start killing people without having first conveyed his message to them, or that he should strive to destroy the very government under whose protection he lives. It seems as if the souls of the people who hold such beliefs have become completely corrupted and the qualities of human compassion have been strangled within them, or that God never gave them such qualities, to begin with. May God protect us from every mischief."

âAll our friends should, to the best of their ability, come and listen to Divine words and to join us in supplication for the sake of Allah. This gathering will be devoted to the exposition of such truths and spiritual insight as are necessary for the promotion of faith and certainty and spiritual understanding, and there will be special prayers and attention for the participants.
