Evok was born out of a musical collaboration between songwriter and production duo Vinzenz Benjamin and Ella Jean. They combine their diverse musical backgrounds to form a unique sound which crosses genres from soul and jazz to pop, all with a distinct retro touch. Driving bass lines, 80s synthesizers, funky guitars and closely arranged vocal harmonies build the backbone for Ella Jean’s catchy top lines.
