✝️ The San Damiano Cross ✝️
It was before this cross that Christ spoke to St. Francis of Assisi with the words: “Go, rebuild My Church.” These words transformed his life and ignited a movement of renewal, simplicity, and faith that continues to inspire the Church today.

May the San Damiano Cross remind us that God still calls each of us to be builders of His Kingdom.

🙏 St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!

He is remembered for his love of peace, simplicity, and his deep desire to reflect Christ in all things. His life became a living Gospel — inspiring millions to this day.

St. Francis is the patron saint of animals, ecology, and the environment, reminding us to care for creation and to see God’s presence in every living thing. May his example of humility and holiness lead us closer to Christ.

📖 Feast of St. Jerome — September 30 ✨
Today we honor St. Jerome (c. 347–420), the great Doctor of the Church who gave us the Latin Vulgate, the first full translation of the Bible into Latin. Known for his fiery spirit and devotion to Scripture, he left us the powerful reminder: “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.”

St. Jerome is the patron saint of librarians, translators, and biblical scholars, inspiring all who seek to understand and live God’s Word more deeply. May his intercession draw us closer to Christ through Scripture and prayer.

🙏 St. Jerome, pray for us!

💫 “Pray, hope, and don’t worry.” — St. Padre Pio
Feast Day: SEPT 23rd

St. Padre Pio (1887–1968), the humble Capuchin friar from Italy, bore the stigmata of Christ for fifty years and spent countless hours in the confessional, guiding souls back to God. Known for his miracles, deep prayer, and unshakable faith, he reminds us that holiness is found in surrender to God’s will.

🙏 Prayer to St. Padre Pio
O God, You gave St. Pio of Pietrelcina, a humble Capuchin priest, the great privilege of sharing in the passion of Your Son. Through his intercession, grant us the grace of living in union with the Cross of Christ and one day attaining the glory of the resurrection. Amen.

St. Padre Pio, pray for us!

Michael Jordan could jump nearly 4 feet off the ground, earning him the title of the greatest flyer in basketball history. His vertical leap made him a living legend. 🏀🔥

But St. Joseph of Cupertino (1603–1663), the humble Franciscan friar, was known for something even more extraordinary: levitation. Eyewitnesses, including bishops, cardinals, and even Pope Urban VIII, recorded that during moments of deep prayer, Joseph would suddenly rise into the air.

He was seen floating over the heads of crowds during Mass.

At times, he soared up to the tops of trees or even to the altar, unable to control when the Spirit lifted him.

These ecstasies could last for minutes, sometimes so long that his brothers had to wait patiently for him to return to the ground.

Because of these wonders, he was called the “Flying Friar.” His levitations were so frequent and well-documented that the Church officially recognized them as genuine.

So when it comes to who can “fly higher,” Jordan amazed us with human talent—but St. Joseph of Cupertino shows us the power of God.

📅 His feast day is celebrated on September 18th.
🙏 St. Joseph of Cupertino, pray for us!
