My name is Marie from Our Okie Homestead. We are located in Beautiful Southeastern Oklahoma. We have a small Pecan Orchard. We added Peach and Plum trees in 2022.
We've raised some Paint horses over the years and even showed some.
But as life does, things change and we change direction with it.
I started trying gardening again a couple years ago after having so many failures in the past. But after watching lots of good YouTube channels, even I became successful in growing some of our own food! Which made me want to grow even more!
We have added goats to the farm again. Been a few years and sure have missed their poison ivy removal services! We are negotiating work terms with them at this time. So far they just want to hang out instead of working, LOL!
We've had chickens most of our time here on our farm but added some Turkeys end of 2022.
