🦋FINAL BUTTERFLY UPDATE🦋
✨they were moved to their enclosure after they all turned into their chrysalis, two of them had fallen in their previous one so they were set on the bottom (it’s a lot better than last year. for reference, all of them fell last year so we were happy majority stayed)
✨then, they slowly started to hatch and become actual butterflies. they get fed red gatorade, oranges, and watermelon.
✨today they were released after all the ones that were alive hatched. a few didn’t make it in their chrysalis and that was to be expected, but in total we had 9! (we only had 2 last year)

all of the butterflies are in their chrysalis! two have fallen because another knocked them down but we’ll be transferring them to their new enclosure and hopefully they’ll all stay up there.
last year once they were transported most of them fell down and although we still had hope for them, only two survived and became butterflies 🦋
